The material can be used on all common desktop 3D printers with FDM or FFF technology.

Beautiful, but tricky to print with
Rated with 4 out of 5 stars.
This is a very lovely and marvellous material. It really brings a new dimension to prints. It looks fantastic and adds interest to all prints.
HOWEVER.....
It is tricky to print with, as others have mentioned it can block quite easily and getting it to print with smaller models with more details is a pain. Other wise I would give it 5 stars. I will buy more of it now I have my machines dialled in to print with it.
I will offer my print settings incase it helps somebody else...
I have a cr10 and and ender 3, with similar setups, same size blowers and same hotend....
I had blockages when my retraction was set too large, I have full metal hotends on my printers. I had to print at 240 degrees. I set retraction down to .5mm on one machine and 1mm on another. When printing very small features (like the steam pipe on a bench at 60% scale) I got blockages. I believe this is due to the filament contracts when it cools, so if you do not have. a minimum amount of flow going through the hotend then the filalment retractions up inside the nozzle, cools and then blocks...
hope this helps somebody...

The filament truly is magic but the shipping costs unacceptable.

Cool Factor: 5*, Printablility: 1*
Rated with 3 out of 5 stars.
Pros: Top marks for super cool looks! Hardly any stringing.
Cons: By far the most difficult print filament! Diameter ranges from 1.69mm to 1.80mm, which is visible as inconsistent layers. Clogs very often, had to reduce retraction from default 3.2mm to 0.8mm (luckily very little stringing). So far only got it work at a very high Temp of 235'C on my Prusa Mini. Will try to dial it in to work at lower Temp.
Despite all the issues I will by it again. It's just too cool.
Can't wait for quality to improve. Was this rating helpful? (6) (1)

Great colour and easy to print for me
Rated with 5 out of 5 stars.
I just tried this and it printed extremely well on a spiral vase print. Only a few ‘near invisible’ micro strings that were easily dealt with. Some other people reported clogging but zero issues so far. I do have a very well tuned printer and a Micro Swiss DD with their metal hotend.
I printed this fairly fast:
Inner wall speed 80mm/s
Outlet wall speed 50mm/s
All walls with no infill which was actually faster than using infill but this is relatively thin - 6 wall thickness in all. Very sturdy and pleasingly weighty print.
Shame I can’t add pictures here as I have some stunning images for this - looks much better than the website images too!Was this rating helpful? (1) (0)
