Creality Antclab's BLTouch Upgrade Kit

The BLTouch Upgrade Kit is a complete kit that includes all the components you need to install your level sensor. In addition to the levelling sensor, it also includes the necessary cables, screws and the appropriate bracket.

Intelligent levelling

Antclabs' BLTouch automatic levelling sensor measures the tilt of the print bed and compensates the Z-axis to avoid print errors due to uneven print surfaces.

With a detection range of 0 - 0.4 mm and a very small deviation of only 0.005 mm, the levelling sensor enables maximum precision.

Function of the BLTouch

The BLTouch has two wiring groups, one with three and one with two wires. The group of three wires is a standard servo connection and the group of two wires is a switch. The probe is controlled via the servo connection and extended and retracted as required. The switch tells the printer when the probe has touched the bed.

When installing on your hotend, make sure that the extended probe reaches under the nozzle, otherwise, the probe won't reach the bed first! Be sure to test this visually before attempting to use the BLTouch.

The BLTouch is connected to the control board of your 3D printer via four pins and has the following functions:

• Brown & Black: Ground
• Red: 5V
• Orange: control signal
• White: Z-Min

High compatibility

The automatic levelling sensor is compatible with almost all 3D printers. However, note that depending on your printer, a firmware update may be required for the sensor to function properly.

The smart levelling system can be used on ABS, PLA, glass, metal, plastic and most other printing surfaces.

Low energy consumption

In standby mode, the sensor requires less than 15 mA, in working mode it is only 100 - 300 mA.
