Description
The amorphous thermoplastic polycarbonate (PC) is characterized by high strength, impact resistance and temperature resistance. PC is used for example for CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray Discs.
PC is a difficult material to print. Nozzle temperatures of over 280 °C, a heated print bed >80 °C and a special print surface (eg Buildtak) is necessary. From a print bed temperature of 100 °C you can also print on a pure glass surface, depending on the geometry.
