Bondtech DDX For Creality 3D printer

The Bondtech DDX Direct Drive eXtruder for Creality 3D printer is an upgrade kit that replaces the original Bowden with a direct drive setup. It is a high-performance extruder with two drives based on the BMG Bondtech Mini Geared.

Compatibility with multiple hotends

This model was created to be compatible with the original hot end of each Creality model. Owners can also upgrade the hotend to the Copperhead or Mosquito.

DDX adapter set required!

The DDX is compatible with most Creality 3D printers from the Ender and CR-10 series. But the DDX requires an adapter set for each model or set of models.

Special sets of adapters and cables are required to upgrade the hotend.

Copperhead or Mosquito Hotend

To upgrade the hotend to Copperhead or Mosquito on a Creality 3D printer with DDX, the thermistor must be replaced. When the thermistor is replaced, the firmware must be updated. Please note that the hotend cannot be upgraded if the printer does not have a boot loader.

Using a level sensor with DDX

The DDX was designed so that the level sensor can be attached to the X-Carriage. For models where there is no space to attach a bed probe such as the BLTouch to the X-Carriage, a bracket can be printed and attached to the right side of the DDX.

This Direct Drive eXtruder from Bondtech is a powerful, highly reliable 1.75mm dual drive extruder for Creality 3D printers based on the very popular BMG. The housing parts are printed with PA12 (polyamide) for maximum strength and precision using SLS technology in industrial quality.

The Bondtech DDX Direct Drive eXtruder for Creality offers the user more options of different materials; higher flow and / or wider nozzles; thinner layers - and achieve a higher print quality. The DDX is based on the BMG Bondtech Mini Geared Extruder with the unique dual-drive technology. The DDX housing design offers effective hot-end cooling. With the 3: 1 ratio, high-resolution prints with small nozzles or high-flow prints with larger nozzles can be achieved.

Easy to set up
To facilitate setup, the kit is attached to the carriage with only 2 screws.
