Description

The Craftbot Flow is the smallest plug & play 3D printer of the Craftbot Flow series and is suitable for both beginners and professionals.

Due to its large printing area and the many advanced functions, the compact 3D printer is ideal for daily use in engineering, prototyping, design and private use.

Effectiveness

  • Large print volume

The 3D printers of the Flow family convince with a larger print volume than the brand average. The Craftbot Flow is the smallest, and the Flow IDEX XL the largest 3D printer in the series.

Print volume of the Craftbot Flow: 300 x 200 x 250 mm

  • Heated glass printing plate up to 110 ° C - for strong adhesion and easy removal

The heated print bed made of metal, hardened glass and Kapton guarantees the best print bed adhesion during the printing process, while the upper flexible printing plate ensures that the finished print can be easily removed.

  • Mesh bed levelling - Simplified calibration process

The user-friendly semi-automatic levelling system makes it easy to get started and the correct calibration settings increase printing accuracy.

In addition to the automatic XY calibration, the IDEX printers of the Flow generation also have a semi-automatic, electronic Z calibration.

Reliability

  • Reinforced steel frame

Flow series 3D printers have a double-walled frame reinforced with extruded aluminium and are particularly stable. The robust frame reduces vibrations and protects sensitive parts during transport.

  • Filament sensor for smooth operation

Thanks to the new filament sensor, failures due to filament errors are minimised. The mechanical and electronic parts of the integrated monitoring system are built into the extruder and thus guarantee an even filament feed.

  • All-metal hotends

The flow generation is equipped with all-metal hotends that are able to print with up to 300 ° C in exceptional quality. With the direct drive extruder, special filaments can also be processed without any problems.

Fewer parts and connection points make jams less likely and easier to clean.

High technology

  • Pr3dator motherboard for maximum speed

A 32-bit motherboard provides more precise control. The fast mainboard is equipped with industry-leading motors, advanced functions and a great interface. It is also an energy-saving solution.

  • Raspberry PI

A brand new Rasberry PI microcomputer is integrated into the touchscreen interface. It enables more flexible applications, ensures ultra-fast response times and a stable Linux operating system in a modern high-tech design.

  • 5 inch colour touchscreen

The printer is easy to operate via a 5-inch, user-friendly colour touchscreen.

  • LED status display

An LED status display ensures that you always have your printing status in view and under control. The different modes (printing, pause, heating, error and printing finished) are displayed. An individual colour can be selected for each mode.

  • IoT web interface

Each printer has its own interface with a simple control option that is connected to the PC via a secure Internet connection. In addition, a built-in camera facilitates work processes.

The platform-independent access, the programmable API, the fine-tuning of the Craftware software and the compatibility even with a printer farm offer a completely personalised application and option to control the whole process.

  • 4GB internal storage

No external device is required to upload G-codes.
Content can be accessed directly via the IoT interface. The STL file can thus be converted into G-code by Craftware or other slicer software and transferred to the printer via the web interface without using a flash drive.

The printing process can be conveniently started and controlled remotely.
