The Eibos Filament Dryer Series X is a highly advanced drying and storage system for 3D printing filaments, specifically engineered to eliminate material moisture during active printing operations.

Hydrophilic filaments start absorbing ambient humidity after just a short time, leading to quality issues such as stringing, extrusion problems, poor layer adhesion, or clogged nozzles. The Eibos X Series resolves this issue with an active dehumidifying system that restores damp filament to its optimal baseline state, thereby guaranteeing reproducible, high-end print results.

Maximum Flexibility via Independent Chambers

Thanks to the innovative division into separately controlled chambers, there is no need to compromise on multi-material projects: each individual filament receives the precise thermal treatment required by its chemical structure. An external, active circulation system ensures continuous extraction of moist air from the interior of the housing, effectively preventing reabsorption.

Intelligent Moisture Control & Standalone Operation

Following the primary drying process, the unit automatically switches to an intelligent maintenance mode. The relative humidity (RH) is kept constant at your predefined target value, making the system equally perfect as a long-term storage medium. For highly hygroscopic industrial materials or multi-day print jobs, the unrestricted runtime option provides maximum flexibility.

Plug-and-Play Integration

The Series X is a completely standalone system equipped with its own dedicated power supply. No modifications to your AMS hardware or printer firmware are required.

Note: Installation is limited to loosening and tightening four screws in order to replace the original upper cover of the AMS system and install the new foot pads.
