Description

Elegoo has established itself as one of the world's best-known LCD 3D printer manufacturers. With their Mars series they achieved a very high popularity due to the unbeatable price / performance ratio. Now they are bringing out the Mars 2 series with the Pro model, which has a 6-inch monochrome LCD, which enables far faster printing speeds and is much more wear-resistant than normal LCD displays.

2K monochrome LCD

The Elegoo Mars 2 Pro has a 6-inch monochrome LCD display. With this new technology, the Mars 2 Pro boasts incredible printing speeds, so that it only needs 1-2 seconds per layer - compared to conventional LCD 3D printers with 7-8 seconds per layer.

The monochrome LCD is also thermally stable and has a much longer service life than conventional LCD displays. You can print with it for over 2000 hours!

In addition, thanks to the larger LCD display, the Mars 2 Pro also has a slightly larger installation space of 129 x 80 x 160 mm.

New imaging unit

The brand new light source structure offers a more uniform UV light emission and works very well with the 2K Monochrome LCD. The printing details and precision are vastly improved and the results are very impressive.

Multilingual user interface

Mars 2 Pro now supports 12 different languages, so customers all over the world can use the 3D printer more conveniently and without obstacles. The following languages are available:

  • Japanese
  • Dutch
  • Korean
  • French
  • German
  • Russian
  • Italian
  • Spanish
  • Turkish
  • Portuguese
  • Chinese
  • English

New platform for better adhesion

Compared to the Mars Pro with a CD pattern platform, the Mars 2 Pro has a new platform surface. This surface is a little rougher and ensures improved adhesion of the 3D prints on the platform and more stable success rates.

The particularities:

  • Build space of 129 x 80 x 160 mm
  • Monochrome LCD
  • 2K resolution
  • 50-micron precision
  • 1-2 seconds per layer
  • Activated carbon filter
  • Stable Z-axis
  • USB port on the front
  • Improved adhesion

This printer is delivered with an EU plug

The most popular technology used for 3D printing is FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling). A heated nozzle (hot-end) melts the plastic wire, layering the melted parts.
