Description

Fiberlogy Impact PLA is a technical filament that combines the mechanical strengths of ABS with the hassle-free printing behaviour of classic PLA. Users benefit from the same easy, reliable processing they expect from standard PLA - requiring no heated print chamber and producing no unpleasant odours - while achieving significantly more robust print results.

Compared to standard PLA, Impact PLA delivers noticeably higher impact resistance and improved heat deflection. Components printed with this material are much more resilient against cracks, knocks, and fractures, while maintaining excellent dimensional detail across the printed surface. This makes the filament particularly well-suited for applications that demand both mechanical durability and a clean finish.

Typical applications: Impact PLA comes into its own for functional prototypes, components subject to mechanical stress, and large-scale workpieces or workshop tooling. Even under challenging operating conditions, the material delivers reliable results, providing a practical alternative to ABS.
