presto Fine Putty (reduced styrene) is a highly elastic, fast-curing two-component polyester filler for filling minor surface imperfections and applying thin finishing layers to pre-treated surfaces. Microfine fillers create a particularly smooth surface, making it suitable for a wide range of automotive, mechanical engineering and hobby crafts.

Unlike coarser filling fillers, this fine filler is designed for the final step before painting: levelling small imperfections and applying a thin finishing layer to surfaces that have already been filled. It can be applied directly to metal, wood and concrete, or to surfaces already treated with presto Filling Compound.

Once cured, the fine filler is resistant to weak acids, weak alkalis, propellants, solvents, water and road salt. It is also formulated without asbestos or silicone.

Styrene-reduced formulation: The styrene-reduced formula helps reduce the typical odour of conventional polyester fillers during application. It is based on highly reactive, unsaturated polyester resin filled with a microfine pigment and filler combination, which gives the surface its especially smooth finish.

Fast application, short waiting time: After mixing with the correct amount of hardener, the material remains workable for around 5 to 6 minutes at 20 °C. After approximately 30 minutes, the filled area can be drilled, sanded, sawn, filed, primed and painted.
