Description
presto Fine Putty is a highly elastic, two-component polyester finishing putty for the precision repair of minor imperfections and for fine filling work on pre-treated surfaces. Due to the styrene-free formulation and the use of micro-fine fillers, it creates an exceptionally smooth and even surface that is ideal for subsequent painting.
The filler provides reliable adhesion to metal, wood, concrete and pre-filled substrates, while remaining easy to work with. Once cured, it can be sanded easily and offers stable material properties, making it suitable for automotive applications, mechanical engineering, workshop use and hobby projects.
► Usage instructions: The surface must be clean, dry, free of grease, and sanded; any rust must be removed beforehand. Thoroughly mix the required amount of filler with the correct amount of hardener and apply evenly. After approximately 30–40 minutes, the treated surface can be further processed, e.g., by sanding, drilling, or painting.
- Tools should be cleaned immediately after use.
- Application is possible from a minimum temperature of 5 °C; ideally, the material should be at room temperature.
- Galvanised surfaces must be treated with a suitable zinc primer beforehand.
