Prusa HT Hotend Upgrade for CORE One/+ & CORE One L/+

The Prusa HT Hotend Upgrade equips an existing CORE One printer with a second, tool-free hotend capable of nozzle temperatures of up to 400 °C. This makes it possible to process demanding high-performance engineering plastics such as PEKK-CF, PEEK-CF, PPSU and PPA-CF on these printers for the first time, materials that were previously beyond the capabilities of the standard hotend.

Swapped in under a minute

Switching between the standard and HT hotend is tool-free and takes less than a minute. As PLA, PETG and other common filaments can also be printed without issue using the HT hotend, it can remain installed permanently. Changing hotends is therefore optional and can simply be done to suit the print job.

• 1 x HT hotend with hardened 0.4 mm ObXidian 500 nozzle
• 2 x idlers (1 x for standard materials, 1 x for high-temperature filaments)
• 1 x base plate made from PC Blend Carbon Fiber
• 1 x pair of gloves
• 1 x user manual

Note: For nozzle diameters other than the supplied 0.4 mm nozzle, different recommendations apply depending on the material, such as a hardened 0.6 mm nozzle for Prusament PETG Ultraglow or a 0.4 mm brass High Flow nozzle (CHT) for Prusament PLA High Speed. The appropriate nozzle should be selected according to the filament being used.
