AzureFilm PLA CF Abyss Blue, 1,75 mm / 1000 g

AzureFilm PLA CF combines the easy printability of classic PLA with carbon fibre reinforcement, creating a filament that is particularly suitable for aesthetic yet technically demanding components. The added carbon fibres provide greater rigidity, improved dimensional stability and a distinctly premium character, while retaining the familiar printing convenience of PLA.

The embedded carbon fibres increase the rigidity of printed parts and reduce shrinkage during cooling. Printed parts retain their dimensions more accurately, hold their shape more reliably and are less prone to warping, which is a clear advantage over standard PLA, especially for larger or more demanding models. The carbon fibre content gives prints a characteristic matt surface texture with a premium look. Visible layer lines are effectively concealed, resulting in a clean, technical and professional finish.

Despite the mechanical upgrade, PLA CF remains surprisingly easy to work with. It doesn't require a heated print chamber, is less prone to warping, and can be used easily on most common desktop 3D printers.

►Note: Carbon fibre filaments are abrasive and can quickly wear down standard brass nozzles. Therefore, for printing with PLA CF, using a hardened steel nozzle, ruby nozzle or tungsten carbide nozzle is recommended.
