BIGTREETECH Panda Sense Pro

The BIGTREETECH Panda Sense Pro is a compact air quality monitor that records several environmental values at the same time and displays them on its own screen. It is suitable for use at home, in the workshop or directly next to a 3D printer, and can also be integrated into smart home systems as well as Klipper interfaces such as Fluidd or Mainsail.

What the Panda Sense Pro measures, and how

Three independent measuring methods record the most important air quality parameters: a laser particle sensor measures fine dust down to 0.3 µm using light scattering, an electrochemical sensor records formaldehyde (HCHO) with temperature compensation, and an NDIR infrared sensor measures CO₂. All three sensors calibrate automatically to compensate for long-term drift. eTVOC, temperature and humidity are also recorded and combined in the overall AQI value.

Display & history

All values are shown directly on the 3.5-inch colour display. Integrated 24-hour and 30-day history views show pollution patterns and help you adjust ventilation habits or print planning accordingly.

Connectivity & integration

Automations can be set up via Home Assistant, for example to switch on an air purifier or air conditioning system when defined thresholds are reached. Native Moonraker integration displays all sensor data directly in Fluidd or Mainsail alongside the print status. Wi-Fi + MQTT enable remote access via app, launch to follow.

Housing & power supply

The housing is available as an open-source template, allowing it to be customised freely and printed yourself. This includes a screensaver mode with the time or your own GIF in standby mode. Power is supplied via USB-C from a printer, power adapter or power bank.
