Description
The BIQU BMCU-370 Full Multi-Colour Feeding System is a powerful, open-source alternative to the Bambu Lab AMS lite. Featuring a robust 370 motor (Hall version) and a well-designed complete package, it simplifies the process of getting started with multi-colour and multi-material printing.
Multi-colour printing with up to 4 filaments
The BMCU-370 supports up to 4 filament spools at the same time and enables automatic spool switching during the print process. This makes it possible to create colourful designs, multi-colour models and prints with different material properties without manual intervention.
370 motor with Hall sensor
Inside, a 370 motor with Hall sensor ensures particularly smooth and reliable filament feeding. Compared with smaller motors, it offers more torque, quieter operation and a longer service life, even during continuous use with demanding print jobs.
Open-source design
The BMCU-370 is fully open source and compatible with the official firmware as well as community updates. Anyone who wants to explore the system in more detail benefits from a platform that is continuously developed and can be flexibly adapted to individual requirements.
Bidirectional support and soft buffering
The extended versions of the system support bidirectional filament guidance with soft buffering. This handles the filament particularly gently and significantly reduces the risk of grinding, tangling or spool kickback.
