Developed for the Creality3D CR-10S Pro
This extruder upgrade kit is for the Creality CR-10S PRO and replaces the original extruder. This kit contains no motor, the original motor is used.
Bondtech's Dual Drive Performance
This kit offers a high-performance material delivery system with the ability to print faster with improved quality. With the adjustable knurled screw you can fine-tune the force acting on the filament. It allows for more reliable printing with all types of filaments, both stiff and flexible, and the DualDrive system ensures that the extruder never loses grip on the filament, making grinding and slipping a thing of the past.
Lower power recommended
Due to the gear ratio, the stepper motor can press the filament with a tremendous force. BondTech recommends lowering the stepper motor current to almost half of the original current. Read the step-by-step guide to learn how to do it.
Bowden solution
The Bowden tube is securely held in place by the built-in 4mm industry-standard connector.
Reduction of filament jams
Between the Bondtech gears and the 3D-printed SLS housing is now a distance of nearly 0.1 mm, which prevents filaments jamming there. An additional short PTFE tube is added between the extruder and the filament sensor to facilitate loading and unloading of the filaments.
SLS printed case
The housing parts are professionally SLS 3D printed with polyamide for maximum strength and precision. Due to the slightly higher geometry of the extruder, the total print height is 385 mm.
Firmware update
The Creality3D firmware needs to be updated to use this upgrade kit. The E-steps must be updated to 415, and the total print height should be set to 385 mm.

Works really well. Fitting instructions were very good. Very straight forward to fit. Having no filament slipping now or getting chewed up.

Definitely! There are two main changes that are required for this upgrade. 1 is change the vref which is a manual change on the mainboard and the other is change the esteps which can be altered in the firmware or added in the start gcode in your slicer.
