The two most important features of ASA are UV stability and high-temperature resistance of 96 ° C. This material is well suited for long-lasting outdoor use.

Parts printed with ASA can withstand prolonged exposure to UV light and retain their toughness and durability much longer than ABS. So ASA is a really interesting alternative to ABS.

ASA is more prone to warping compared to PLA or PETG type filaments. Large footprint models, in particular, may shrink and warp when printing, but in most cases, it is less severe than ABS.
