Heatbed Unit X1 Series, V3

The heatbed unit from the Bambu Lab X1 series is a central functional block of the Z system, which takes over the controlled heat supply for the entire printing process. The module is guided on a stable Z-platform and enables high-precision positioning along the Z-axis. Its integrated heating structure ensures that the set temperature is reached quickly and kept constant across the entire surface. This ensures that your printed objects adhere reliably and are thermally stable.

The X1 series currently uses 2 variants of the heatbed module: Heatbed Unit V2 and Heatbed Unit V3. Both versions offer the same heating power and functionality, but differ in their design:

• Heatbed Unit V3: optimised design for easier disassembly and replacement
• Heatbed Unit V2: original version, still functionally identical, but less service-friendly design

Bambu Lab is gradually switching production completely to the V3 unit.

Note: The heatbed version must always be operated with the corresponding AC board. An upgrade from V2 to V3 requires an exchange to an AC board compatible with the V3 heatbed. The versions used must match in both components to ensure proper function and safety.
