E3D Hobb Goblin Drive Gear

A small filament drive gear made of stainless steel with really sharp little teeth. These are carefully manufactured on a synchronized CNC process, which results in a sharp, uniform and clean-cut tooth profile with an incredibly good grip.

These drive wheels have been tested with 1.75mm and 3.00mm filaments, from soft and flexible materials to hard materials. All with great results. The Drive Gears are an excellent match for the NEMA17 stepper motors with 5 mm or 8 mm shafts to produce inexpensive and simple extruders for 1.75 mm filaments. These gears have a similar effective radius and use as an MK8 drive wheel. Fastened to a 5 mm or 8 mm motor shaft with the supplied M3 set screw.
