E3D Hobb Goblin - Shaft Kit

A small filament drive made of stainless steel with really sharp teeth. They are carefully manufactured on a synchronized CNC process that results in a sharp, uniform and clean cut tooth profile with an incredibly good grip.

These have been tested with 1.75mm and 3mm filaments, from soft and flexible materials to hard materials. All with great results. This is a functional equivalent of the traditional tapping screw from the past, but instead of using a questionable M8 quality screw as the starting material, these are made from high-quality stainless steel. Due to the thread on both sides, lock nuts are used instead of the screw head, which means that the position of the drive area of the hob can be adjusted.

Fantastic for the classic gear extruder. M8 threads at both ends with a maximum diameter of 8 mm for easy passage through a bearing with an inner diameter of 8 mm.

Note that Hobb Goblin products are not compatible with the newer Titan and Titan Aero.
