Elegoo H1 HT Filament Dryer

The Elegoo H1 HT is a filament dryer with high-temperature drying up to 85 °C, automatic spool rotation and active dehumidification. It is designed for users who need to dry moisture-sensitive filaments such as TPU, nylon or carbon fibre-reinforced materials reliably and then print with them straight away. Unlike many basic dry boxes, the H1 HT combines high drying temperatures with active airflow and can be used independently of brand with almost any FDM printer.

Drying temperatures up to 85 °C for engineering filaments

The H1 HT reaches drying temperatures of up to 85 °C, covering both everyday materials such as PLA and PETG and more demanding filaments such as PA, PC and PAHT-CF. The higher temperature is particularly useful for hygroscopic materials that may not dry sufficiently at lower temperatures.

Even drying thanks to automatic spool rotation

The spool rotates automatically during the drying process. This allows the heat to act more evenly across the entire filament spool rather than mainly reaching the outer windings. The aim is to achieve a consistent residual moisture level throughout the spool.

Active venting and sealing function

Two automatic ventilation openings allow moist air to escape during drying and close once the process is complete. The H1 HT can therefore also be used afterwards as a storage box that helps protect the filament from absorbing moisture again.

Dedicated outlet for TPU and composite filaments

A separate bypass outlet is provided for flexible and fibre-reinforced filaments. This allows the material to be fed directly from the dryer towards the printer without passing through the usual guide points, which can often cause TPU to snag.

3.5-inch touchscreen with 11 presets

The unit is controlled via a 3.5-inch colour display that shows temperature and humidity in real time. Eleven stored material profiles cover common filament types, while a custom profile can also be configured.

Safety features for continuous operation

Flame-retardant housing material, overheat protection, lid-open detection and fan-failure monitoring are designed to support safe operation. If a fault is detected, the unit emits an audible warning signal.

Brand-independent use across the FDM ecosystem

The H1 HT is not tied to a specific printer model and can be used with spools from different manufacturers. It is therefore suitable both as a standalone drying station and as an addition to existing setups without an integrated drying function.
