Elegoo PETG Translucent is a translucent PETG filament for parts that need to allow light through while remaining strong. It combines a clear, glossy appearance with good light transmission and the impact resistance naturally associated with PETG, making it suitable for lampshades, protective covers and decorative objects.

Thanks to its high light transmission, prints made from PETG Translucent can appear almost illuminated when light passes through the material. The final level of transparency depends on the wall thickness, size and structure of the model, as well as print speed, nozzle temperature and infill density, so some experimentation may be worthwhile to achieve the desired effect. The smooth, glossy surface gives prints a high-quality appearance without polishing or post-processing.

PETG Translucent offers the impact resistance typical of PETG and absorbs drops and knocks noticeably better than brittle materials. This makes it a practical choice for protective housings and everyday parts that need to withstand regular use. Like standard PETG, the translucent version is straightforward to print and is suitable for prototypes, lamp covers, protective housings and decorative objects alike.
