Are you looking for an exciting 3D printing project and want to put your craftsmanship to the test? Then the LDO Voron Switchwire 3D printer kit is just right for you!

The kit contains the parts you need, the rest is up to you. Print out the missing parts and create your own FDM printer. The kit is ideal for advanced hobbyists who already have a 3D printer at home and would like to take a closer look at the various components.

Build volume: 250 x 235 x 235 mm

Compared to RevA, the RevC kit was equipped with the following components:

• Stealthburner toolhead,
• Nitehawk USB toolboard,
• E3D Voron Revo Hotend,
• BIGTREETECH SKR mini E3 v3.0 motherboard,
• 4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen,
• Raspberry Pi 4B.

An enclosure is included.

Different coloured aluminium extrusion profiles and stainless steel linear rails

You can choose the colour of the aluminium extrusion profiles yourself. There are several colour variants to choose from.

The stainless steel linear rails do not rust and impress with their longevity. Don't forget to grease the rails!

An upgrade to the Stealthburner toolhead

Because Voron kits are now increasingly being equipped with a Stealthburner toolhead, the Switchwire kit now consists of the complete combination of Stealthburner and Clockwork 2 extruder.

E3D Voron Revo Hotend LDO Edition

The kit is equipped with the E3D Revo Voron hotend. With the all-metal hotend, you'll enjoy all the benefits of E3D's RapidChange Revo system with improved speed performance and high-temperature resistance.

BIGTREETECH SKR Mini E3 v3 motherboard

The 32-bit SKR Mini E3 v3 motherboard is powerful and has a variety of interfaces for DIY modifications. The motherboard has a new design and is equipped with an optimised heatsink for better heat dissipation. Thanks to a newly added third fan output, the working temperature can be effectively reduced.

Nitehawk USB toolboard kit

The new Nitehawk USB toolboard board was specifically designed by LDO to make cabling easier.

4.3 inch capacitive touchscreen

The Switchwire kit is equipped with a 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with ease of operation and user-friendliness.

Raspberry Pi 4B

With Raspberry Pi 4B, you get the most out of your Switchwire printer! The powerful board with 8 GB RAM has a CPU with a higher clock speed and a variety of interfaces for better connectivity (e.g. USB 3.0 ports, 4K output for two displays, and much more).

Tool head circuit board

The kit includes a modified Hartk tool head PCB. In addition, a breakout PCB was developed for the tool head to simplify wiring on the control side.

Pre-cut and pre-wired cables

The kit contains all the necessary cables, cut to the correct length and pre-crimped and soldered to the appropriate parts.

Useful tool

► Since Allen keys wear out easily, a set of them was included in the contents of delivery. Slotted screw turning is also part of the included contents.

► The toolkit contains all the necessary parts to support you in carrying out the Input Shaper calibration.

► Metric bits are not equally common all over the world. Therefore one was included in the kit. You can use it to ream the filament path in your printed extruder parts.

► The contents of delivery include a specially machined brass tip for your soldering iron, with which you can easily install heatset inserts. Find out more about the heatset insertion tool here.

Download Fusion 360 and get a free license to view the 3D model of the printer. The 3D model is a very useful reference when the manual is ambiguous or unclear.
