Description

The Conch Hotend™ M4 by Phaetus is a high-efficiency hotend specially designed for the Bambu Lab P2S. It features an impressive flow rate of up to 50 mm³/s and temperature resistance reaching 350 °C.

Manufactured from wear-resistant, durable materials, the hotend is equipped with an interchangeable EndCoat™ nozzle designed for demanding industrial applications. The precision-applied coating enhances surface hardness and improves abrasion resistance in critical areas, such as the nozzle tip and heatbreak neck. As a result, this nozzle offers a service life up to 2.5 times longer than that of a standard hardened steel nozzle.

Technical Features:

  • The larger cooling surface ensures rapid heat dissipation, reliably preventing material clogs caused by thermal expansion.

  • Inclined dendritic cooling fins increase the surface area to facilitate exceptionally fast heat removal.

  • A ceramic insulator with low thermal conductivity strengthens the thermal barrier, ensuring stable extrusion even when working with high-temperature materials.

  • The removable nozzle design simplifies maintenance. Tip: To ensure faultless operation and prevent nozzle leaks during printing, "hot-tightening" should always be performed during installation or replacement.

  • Due to a rigid kinematic coupling system with high stability, potential damage to components caused by impacts is reduced and maintenance requirements are minimised.
