Description
This Phaetus Silicon Carbide (SiC) nozzle is a specially developed nozzle for Flashforge AD5X with EndCoat technology, making it exceptionally durable and resistanr to wear. Plus, it is suitable for continuous use at high temperatures.
The nozzle is made of highly conductive, wear-resistant silicon carbide and achieves a hardness of 9.8 on the Mohs scale. This means it lasts up to 7 times longer than nozzles made of hardened steel. Perfect for abrasive filaments such as CF, GF or special compounds.
The copper alloy heating block with nickel coating overcomes the classic weaknesses of conventional copper blocks: no oxidisation, no blackening. This means that thermal efficiency remains stable even when used continuously at high temperatures.
► The nozzle supports standard materials such as PLA, ABS, PETG, TPU, but is also suitable for printing composite materials used in industrial applications (e.g. CF, GF, steel, wood, etc.).
