Description
Polymaker PC-Max ™ is a polycarbonate-based filament specifically developed for FDM / FFF 3D printing.
The material offers many advantages such as excellent print quality, high mechanical strength and heat resistance at moderate printing temperatures.
We recommend using a BuildTak printing film when printing with PC-Max in order to achieve the best results.
Polymaker PC-Max ™ offers the best durability that is not achieved with other 3D printing materoials. This makes Polymaker PC-Max ™ an excellent choice for all applications.
Over 60 years ago polycarbonate (PC) became one of the most popular plastics in engineering. Now the Polymaker PC-Plus ™ the material has also made a breakthrough in the world of 3D printing.
Polymaker PC-Max™ provides better heat resistance than most other 3D printing materials currently on the market. It can withstand temperatures well above 110 °C.
PC has basically only been used for expensive and "industrial" FDM machines. With the PC by Polymaker this has changed. The Polymaker PC-Plus ™ has been designed specifically for desktop 3D printers. Polymaker provides a material with excellent properties and good printing properties.
Polymaker PC-Max ™ can be reworked with ease. The printing object can be sanded to obtain a beautiful smooth finish. For more transparency and a glassy surface cover the component using clear paint.
Components created using the Polymaker PC-Max™ filament exhibit a significantly improved mechanical strength as opposed to ABS and PLA.
With Polymaker's quality controls and rigorous testing a reliable filament with consistent quality was created.
