With an enormous build volume of 325 x 325 x 315 mm and speeds of up to 600 mm/s, the X-Max 3 from Qidi Tech is one of the best industrial-grade FDM high-speed printers on the market! This all-rounder is compatible with Klipper and has an extremely stable CoreXY structure as well as a Qidi high-speed extruder, which makes it suitable for high-speed printing.
Exceptional stability thanks to CoreXY structure and all metal frame
The X-Max 3 's CoreXY structure reduces its movement inertia, allowing greater acceleration and speed.
Thanks to an all-metal frame reinforced with metal crossbars on the bottom, the printer is resistant to deformation.
Linear optical axis made of high-strength steel for greater precision
The X-Max 3 linear optical axis is a truly durable marvel made of high-strength steel. With their help, the straightness of the surface is perfected and greater printing precision is guaranteed. In addition, the linear axes of this type are remarkably wear-resistant and require minimal maintenance. This means they typically last a lifetime.
Lightweight extruder, great performance
X-Max 3 is equipped with a high-flow direct drive extruder. The weight of the extruder was reduced from 1,600 g to a single 600 g. With a gear ratio of 9.5:1 and a smart cooling system, the extruder guarantees stable, fast and smooth extrusion as well as smooth feeding and delivery of filaments - without clogging.
Two nozzles for different material properties
The X-Max 3 comes with two different nozzles. On the one hand, it has a nozzle made of a copper alloy for common materials. This ensures better thermal conductivity and more even printing. The hardened steel nozzle, on the other hand, is better suited for abrasive materials. Both nozzles are durable and designed for printing temperatures up to a maximum of 350 °C.
Integrated heated chamber up to 65 °C and drying box
The X-Max-3 has a heated chamber that can heat up to a maximum of 65°C. This heater is therefore extremely efficient when printing with temperature-resistant technical materials such as PET-CF, PETG-HS or PAHT-CF. The heated chamber is equipped with a circulating air fan with an activated carbon air filter to eliminate odours and pollutants.
The high, stable temperatures in the heated chamber ensure that the individual layers are printed evenly and there is no layer separation or warping. The filament drying box, which is also part of the delivery, also contributes to this. The dry box keeps the filament dry and away from moisture.
Thanks to the smart automatic levelling over 16 points, the height of different points on the heated bed can be automatically compensated.
Long-lasting HF build surface
The scratch-resistant HF build surface has a special coating for particularly good adhesion of the models. After the model is completely printed, the flexible plate can be bent slightly - the model will detach itself. You can forget about problems like warping!
64-bit Cortex-A53 processor
X-Max 3 is equipped with an RK3328 quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit processor with a core frequency of 1.5 GHz. The powerful processor enables high-speed printing up to 600 mm/s with an acceleration of 20,000 mm/s² and a flow rate of 35 mm³/s!
User-friendly QIDI slicer software
Thanks to a combination of normal mode and expert mode, the user-friendly QIDI Slicer software can be easily used by both beginners and true 3D printing connoisseurs! There is something for everyone.
