Snapmaker J1's ecoPLA Bundle

In this bundle, you get the ultra-fast IDEX 3D printer J1s from Snapmaker as well as two ecoPLA filaments from 3DJAKE in white and black.

ecoPLA is a biodegradable PLA material that has been slightly modified to make it perfect for 3D printing. Its excellent properties, good printability and unbeatable price make the material a cheap and high-quality alternative for frequent printers.

With the J1s, Snapmaker is launching a new ultra-fast IDEX 3D printer. While the user-oriented dual extruder printer impresses with almost the same features as its predecessor J1, the J1s has been modded and optimised in some points.

IDEX system for high-speed printing

Unlike most 3D printers on the market that are equipped with a single extruder, J1s works with two independently working print heads that can carry out two prints at the same time. The printer achieves a maximum printing speed of 350 mm/s and a maximum acceleration of an incredible 10,000 mm/s²!

Robust construction for high-quality prints

J1s is designed for high-speed printing with its robust all-metal construction. The main body of the IDEX printer consists of a top frame, a one-piece die-cast base and 4 sturdy aluminium alloy rods.

The J1s frame is characterised by outstanding robustness, rigidity and precision. The lower aluminium alloy structure guarantees greater heat dissipation as the motherboard and power supply are located on the base. High-precision, micron-level accuracy CNC linear rails and precision-engineered transmission belts ensure smooth movements, achieving industrial-level high-quality prints.

Closed housing with stable internal temperatures and low noise levels

The J1's closed housing ensures that no heat is lost, minimising the risk of warping of materials such as ABS or nylon. With a noise level of 45 dB, printing in a closed housing is much quieter and more pleasant for the outside world!

Vibration compensation for more stability when printing

Thanks to a special vibration compensation technology, the vibrations caused by extremely high speeds are effectively reduced. This not only minimises ringing but also improves the print quality.

Printing temperatures of up to 300 °C

The J1 's heating block, which is temperature-resistant up to 300 °C, enables easy processing of high-temperature filaments such as nylon, reinforced nylon and PC. The heating block is equipped with a silicone cover, which on the one hand prevents heat from being lost and on the other hand ensures that filaments heat up and melt more quickly.

Dual direct drive extruder with intelligent filament sensor

The dual extruder with direct drive ensures outstanding extrusion accuracy and high responsiveness even with flexible filaments.

An intelligent filament sensor detects problems such as broken filaments or clogged nozzles, alerts you to these and stops the print job automatically.

Print cooling fan

The J1s is equipped with a special cooler. This uses a narrow fan duct to supply fresh air to the large print area. This means that the printed models are cooled quickly, even at maximum speeds, and the ambient temperatures are reduced.

The cooler is practical because, unlike J1, you no longer have to remove the cover when printing with materials such as PLA.

User-friendly touchscreen

The intuitive and extremely user-friendly 5-inch touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It supports file preview, calibration and changing printer settings without using the slicer software. With 4 printing modes.

Easy calibration

Manually calibrating an IDEX 3D printer can be a complex and lengthy process. The J1s offers an intelligent and fully automatic solution for precise calibration - Z-offset calibration. Both extruders can complete the calibration within a very short time when touching the heating bed, which contains built-in electrical blocks. To do this, follow the instructions on the touchscreen and turn the thumbwheel of the right extruder!

PEI glass plate and tool-free bed levelling

A specially manufactured PEI glass plate ensures excellent adhesion of the models. While one side of the panel is made of glossy glass with a smooth surface, the other side of the building panel is covered with a PEI coating. Both sides guarantee excellent adhesion and easy removal of the printed models.

The building plate is automatically levelled. All you have to do is follow the instructions on the touchscreen.

Two independent print heads for different materials/colours

As a dual-extruder printer, J1s allows printing two different objects in parallel, as well as printing a multi-part model as a whole. It also supports dual-material printing, in which two materials with different mechanical properties are combined.

This is where breakable and dissolvable support materials and structures come into play. When a material is combined with the dissolvable PVA, stronger support structures and clean interfaces are created - these can be easily removed, significantly minimising any post-processing.

Mirror printing, standby, backup and copy modes

J1s has extremely practical features:

• Mirror Print: Mirrors the original and prints the mirrored model.
• Copy mode: Prints two identical objects at the same time (e.g. stamp printing).
• Backup mode: allows printing to continue even if an extruder cannot print due to an unforeseen malfunction. In this case, the second extruder automatically takes over the print job and completes the print model!
• Standby mode: In standby mode, the non-working extruder heats up and takes over the printing task from the working extruder without delay as required. The process of switching from the working to the non-working extruder is very smooth!

Their well-thought-out parameters and settings are suitable not only for beginners, but also for professional users! A G-Code preview allows you to view your 3D models before they are even printed.

The software is continuously updated and supplemented with new functions and settings.
