Description

Improved hardness and rigidity

Spectrum Carbon PLA is a modified PLA-based filament blended with carbon fibres to increase stiffness, hardness and tensile strength.

Despite the modification, Carbon PLA retains the easy printability, low shrinkage and very good adhesion of classic PLA.

The addition of 10% carbon fibre also gives the model an aesthetic matt finish.

Note: Due to the high carbon fibre content, larger-diameter nozzles than the standard 0.4mm should be used. In addition, the addition of abrasive carbon fibres can lead to increased nozzle wear, which is why the use of hardened steel or ruby nozzles is recommended for processing Spectrum Carbon PLA.
