Description
Impressive glossy look
Spectrum SILK PLA is a PLA-based 3D printing material with pigments that give printed items a silky look. The semi-gloss surface of printed objects greatly reduces the visibility of layers on the lateral surface.
A specially developed pigment makes it possible to retain the classic properties of PLA, i.e. easy and efficient printing, while at the same time achieving a very low shrinkage rate and relatively high tear resistance. Thus, the material is designed for those who appreciate easy printing and high aesthetic qualities.

Color does not match
The color of the actual spool does not match the images at all and is much lighter. Contacted support of Spectrum and 3D Jake and only got a shrug saying that it’s lighting issues. 3d Jake offered a refund and a return label. Also got jams in the beginning! Twice!

Bad experience
This is probably the second worst filament I have tried. It's bad even for being a silk filament (which are usually all problematic). At no temperature is the layer adhesion good enough, and if you increase the temperature further it comes out a weird milk chocolate brown color. Nearly unusable. The color is also way off from the pictures so it's not aesthetically appealing either.
