Description
The Fiberlogy PCTG is a high-performance filament from the material family of the tried-and-tested PETG, but clearly surpasses it in several key properties. Compared to PETG, it offers up to 20 times higher impact strength, improved temperature resistance and greater transparency. This makes the material a high-performance alternative for more demanding applications.
Despite its improved mechanical properties, PCTG remains a user-friendly material: it does not require a heated build space during the printing process and can therefore be easily processed on most commercially available 3D printers. The high dimensional stability and low shrinkage ensure precise, dimensionally accurate printing results and make the filament easy to handle even for users without extensive 3D printing experience.
In the Izod impact bending test (notched sample), Fiberlogy PCTG achieves values of approx. 90 kJ/m² and is dimensionally stable up to a temperature of 76 °C. This combination of high impact strength, heat resistance and optical clarity opens up a wide range of applications from prototyping to small series production of functional components.
Possible areas of application:
- Spare parts, small series, utility models,
- Engine compartment components, housings for vehicle components, air intakes, filling devices for liquids,
- Sports accessories, protectors, airsoft components,
- Prostheses, medical devices.

Step-up from PETG
Comes in a resealable bag. I used PETG settings (speed, retraction...) and just upped the temp to 280 deg. Prints nice at 70 mm/s, Volcano nozzle 0.6. There is not much stringing. Parts are very strong. Could print even at 250 deg. but much slower. I highly recommend this filament for functional parts and it should be used with filament dryer. It is moderately hygroscopic.
