Carbon fibre reinforced nylon filament

aeCarbon Ease PA12-CF is long chain nylon reinforced with carbon fibres, which has low density, low moisture absorption, high strength, high abrasion resistance, excellent chemical resistance and high heat resistance.

Due to its low density, it easily meets the high strength and lightweight construction requirements of industrial applications.

Low sensitivity to moisture

aeCarbon Ease PA-CF is based on modified high-temperature nylon, the saturated moisture absorption rate of which is only a tenth of ordinary PA6, thus eliminating the deficiencies in mechanical properties and dimensional stability of nylon materials, which change greatly after being absorbed by moisture.

Thanks to the fibre-reinforced technology, aeCarbon Ease PA12-CF also has a low coefficient of friction, self-lubricating properties and excellent wear resistance.

Recommended nozzles

Since carbon material places high demands on the material and heating capacity of the nozzle, the following nozzles are recommended for use:

  • Hardened steel nozzles
  • Ruby nozzles

Additional information

  1. Please put the unused filament back in the original bag made of aluminium foil for sealed storage in order to preserve the quality of the material.
  2. The filament can be dried in an oven at 80-100 ° C for 4-6 hours to restore the print quality.
  3. Hardened steel nozzles are recommended for printing, which can effectively improve print quality. It is also recommended that the thickness of the heating block be longer than 12mm.
  4. After printing is complete, the printed part can be annealed to further improve strength.
    Annealing conditions: Leave the printed part in an oven at 80-100 ° C for 4-8 hours and cool naturally to room temperature.
