presto Repair Kit, 250 g

The presto Repair Kit is a complete repair kit consisting of unsaturated, flexible polyester resin, hardener, glass fibre fleece and glass fibre fabric. It bridges larger holes, rust-through areas and damaged sections in metal, wood or concrete, providing everything needed for a strong repair in one set.

The repair box is traditionally used for vehicle repairs, but is also suitable for mould making, model making, garden applications such as pond liners and industrial use, for example on leaking lines, pipes, boilers or boats.

Flexible polyester resin for long-lasting adhesion

The unsaturated, flexible polyester resin bonds firmly to the surface while remaining flexible enough to absorb stresses in the material. Once cured, the repaired area is resistant to weak acids, weak alkalis, propellants, solvents, water and road salt.

Quick to sand, easy to finish

Depending on the variant, the repaired area can be drilled, sanded, sawn, filed and painted after around 40 minutes. If the area is to be painted afterwards, an intermediate layer of Filling Compound or Fine Putty is recommended. The slightly tacky resin surface helps the filler adhere securely.
