The EINSTAR 2 is the next evolutionary stage of the popular 3D scanner from Shining 3D - now completely wireless, with improved light technology and even more convenience. Whether in the studio, on the move or directly on site: with its hybrid light source, wireless design and vivid full-colour capture, the Einstar 2 delivers professional 3D scans in record time - without any cables, sprays or complicated set-up.

Mobility redefined

The integrated, replaceable battery enables up to 3 hours of continuous scanning without tangled cables or an external power supply. The compact scanner weighs only 420 g and fits comfortably in the hand, making precise work enjoyable and flexible, even during extended use.

Hybrid light source for every detail

The combination of 17 parallel laser lines and IR VCSEL technology ensures maximum precision on any surface:

► Laser mode: ideal for small and detailed objects. 17 lines deliver a particularly high point density and precise detection of even the finest structures - at up to 90 fps.

► IR mode: Perfect for large models or full-body scans at up to 20 fps. Thanks to improved camera resolution, the Einstar 2 captures clear point cloud data even on black or reflective materials - without any matting spray.

Powerful - indoors and outdoors

Whether used in bright sunlight or changing lighting: the Einstar 2 remains reliable.

  • Laser HD mode: Functions up to 110,000 lux,
  • IR Rapid mode: Stable up to 70,000 lux.

This makes the scanner perfect for outdoor shots, complex scenarios or poorly lit environments.

Colour fidelity in every scan

The integrated RGB camera captures natural, vibrant colours in every scan - ideal for artwork, design objects or immersive VR/AR projects. For full-body scans, the Einstar 2 captures realistic and detailed 3D data in just 60 seconds.

EXStar Hub - Intuitive software, professional results

The new EXStar Hub platform offers a standardised user interface for all Einstar models. It reduces system utilisation, speeds up the scanning process and enables smooth, resource-saving workflows. Improved graphics display and smart post-processing tools ensure faster, more precise model optimisation - without complicated training.
