Description
The polylactic acid (PLA) materials of W2 Polymer are made from 100% renewable resources. One can easily call PLA a bioplastic, as it is produced from renewable resources under significantly reduced CO 2 load and can also be composted industrially. The PLA HI has been modified for higher impact strength and can be tempered for higher temperature resistance.
PLA, which is a standard printing material, is characterised by its easy processing, low distortion and low odour. The PLA HI can be printed between 190 ° C and 260 ° C. A heated plate up to 65 ° C improves the first layer adhesion. To achieve balanced properties in terms of impact strength and tensile strength, we recommend printing temperatures around 230 ° C.
