Description

Z-NYLON is a versatile and strong filament that is resistant to high temperatures and various chemicals. It can be reworked with tools for metalworking. Z-NYLON is hard to break and easy to paint, because of this, it can be dyed with common acid-based dyes.

The filament absorbs moisture quickly and should be stored in a waterproof bag with a desiccant. Like all nylon-based materials, Z-NYLON has a relatively high shrinkage, so its use in 3D printing large geometric shapes with steep slopes is not advisable. To reduce shrinkage, it is recommended to work with HEPA covers.
