Description
This stainless steel heat break manufactured by Bondtech for the Prusa Mini fixes and solves the thermal creep problems identified in the extensive tests we performed on the Prusa Mini.
The set length of the PTFE tube also prevents clogging between the tube and the heat break.

- 1x 32 x 5.48 mm stainless steel heat break
- 1x 34.5 mm 2/4 beveled PTFE tube
- 1x Silver based thermal paste bag

This heat break solved all my issues with the Prusa mini; now it works as it should have in the first place. No more under extrusion, blockages, artifacts. Money well spent. I wish that Prusa had just changed the design themselves.

I needed it for PLA, and unfortunately NO go. There is not enough termal mass in prusa mini block to melt PLA properly. Sock doesn't help.

As of November 2021, this heatbreak is not working properly with Prusa Mini+. I spent many hours together with Prusa support only to figure out that clogs and underextrusions are due to bondtech heatbreak. And this is WITH current PID settings on bondtech support site. As of now I highly discourage all to buy it - it's a hit or miss.
