Description

presto Metal Filler is a two-component polyester metal filler with special fillers and aluminium pigments, ideal for large-scale repair work. Thanks to its high thixotropy, the material can be applied particularly evenly, pore-free, and in variable layer thicknesses.

The filler adheres reliably to metal, wood, concrete, and various plastics, making it perfect for filling holes, levelling out uneven surfaces, and stabilising thin material areas. Due to its elasticity and excellent sandability, it is highly versatile for use in the automotive sector, mechanical engineering, as well as workshop and hobby projects.

► Recommended Use: The surface must be clean, dry, free of grease, and sanded; any rust must be removed beforehand. Thoroughly mix the required amount of filler with the correct amount of hardener (e.g., a walnut-sized amount of filler with a pea-sized amount of hardener). Apply the material in the desired layer thickness. After approximately 30–40 minutes, the surface can be further processed, e.g., by sanding, drilling, or painting.

  • Tools should be cleaned immediately after use; mixed material must not be returned to the tin.
